Elizabethtown Community and Technical College is partnering with multiple organizations throughout the region to offer hometown enrollment events.
According to a news release, returning and new students will be able to meet with an academic adviser and select their fall 2021 classes at the events.
ECTC will set up at the following times, dates and locations:
• 9 a.m.–1 p.m., July 23, Meade County High School
• 9 a.m.–1 p.m., July 27, Nelson County Public Library
• 1–3 p.m., July 28, Taylor County Public Library
• 3–7 p.m., Aug. 6, Lincoln Square, Hodgenville (LaRue County Chamber of Commerce First Friday Back to School Bash)
“There’s still time to enroll in fall classes, which start Aug. 16 and Oct. 18,” said ECTC Director of Admissions and Assessment Judy Akers in the release. “We’re taking enrollment services into our students’ communities to make getting started at ECTC as convenient as possible. We encourage anyone with questions about college to stop by. We’re ready to help.”
Financial aid staff also will be on hand for those who have questions about affording college, completing the Free Application for Federal Student Aid or applying for scholarships.
This includes the Work Ready Kentucky Scholarship, which has helped more than 1,000 ECTC students interested in high-demand career fields go to college tuition-free, according to the release.
No appointments are required for the mobile enrollment events.
New and returning students who prefer to visit an ECTC campus to enroll in fall 2021 classes should call 270-769-2371 or go to elizabethtown.kctcs.edu/express-enrollment.
