Sony Cinematic Universe is trying to expand along with the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
Sony started its collaboration with marvel in 2018 releasing Venom. Introducing Tom Hardy as Eddie Brock who is himself venom.
All about Venom
Venom did not at all got a good review from critics because they have completely disliked the script.
Whereas it was a massive hit in terms of box office collection and even in terms of fan following as everyone loved it. They found it a lot funny. They were no connection with spiderman at all in this movie.
With such a great response in October 2020, there is going to be the second of venom going to install. But adding to this there is even another villain to the spiderman about to come.
He is Dr.Micheal Morbius who suffers from a rare blood disease, as he tries a dangerous cure with even more dangerous after-effects.
It was directed by Daniel Espinosa and the character is going to be played by Jared Leto.
Which is the other spiderman spinoff?
With Morbius and Venom 2 to release on July 2020 and October 2020 respectively. Sony has started to release an untitled movie in October 2021.
So Sony has several movies in mind to take as singles like Nightwatch, Kraven the Hunter, Black Cat, Silver Sable, The Sinister Six, Madame Web, and Silk. But only one can be released in October 2021.
So coming to that Black Cat and Silver cable was planned to be released as a single movie as Silver and Black. But again they have backed the idea and decided to release them separately.
So they are not the once. Now coming to Nightwatch it is also trapped somewhere in the development and Madame Web is also in its starting stage. So it pulls down to Kraven the hunter and the sinister six.
Kraven the Hunter doesn’t have a director nor a lead actor. So sinister six is the possible one with half of the crew already set.
Even Morbius will join in this sinister six to add more fun for the viewers. So Sony will soon tell the movie name so that in a couple of months its pre-production work must be started.
