StoryWalk to have dental health theme | Education

Raise Me to Read and the Children’s Oral Health Coalition will present a StoryWalk for families with children age 5 years old and younger.

The StoryWalk will be open from 9 to 11:30 a.m. Feb. 28 at the Council Bluffs Public Library, 400 Willow Ave.

The event will feature the book “Maisy, Charley and the Wobbly Tooth,” by Lucy Cousins, in observance of Children’s Dental Health Month, which is February. This will give children the opportunity to see the story and learn about children’s dental health at the same time.

According to the American Dental Association, the slogan for this year’s dental health campaign is, “Brush and Clean in Between to Build a Healthy Smile!”
